Driven by a desire to empower marginalized youth, Daftne Sanchez fights for a brighter future. Drawing on her own experiences within the child welfare system, she leverages her empathy and resourcefulness to uplift and advocate for others. This meaningful work has ignited her passion and helped her discover her true calling.
Currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree after earning her Associate of Arts at Valencia College, Daftne hails from New York but now calls Florida home. Her unwavering dream is to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people in underserved communities, particularly those navigating the foster care system. When not working towards this goal, she finds solace and inspiration in crafting fictional stories and delving into research.
