We are heartbroken by this week’s shooting in Atlanta—in which a white man murdered 8 people, 6 of whom were Asian women. This comes after a year of rising anti-Asian violence, fueled by the rhetoric of media outlets and our own elected leaders. We grieve and stand with Asian Americans in Texas and beyond.
