The Dale Andrews Freedom Seminary (DAFS) is a credit-bearing, graduate-level experience for seminarians participating in the Hall-Proctor Institute.

It equips emerging faith leaders to engage communities on the margins and respond to the systemic challenges impacting children and youth.

What to Expect

Participants engage public theology, ethical leadership, preaching and pastoral care, and social analysis of systems impacting children.

DAFS begins with dedicated sessions and continues through the full Institute experience.

Faith leaders have long shaped movements for justice. Yet many theological programs remain disconnected from the realities facing children today.

DAFS bridges that gap, preparing students to connect faith with public responsibility and justice-centered ministry.

Who Should Attend

  • Seminary students and recent graduates
  • Students enrolled in accredited theological schools

Participants must register for the Institute and enroll through their home institution.
