Racial Ethnic Impact Statement

CDF-NY leads a Racial Ethnic Impact Statement Workgroup, comprising New York State advocates, with the goal of assessing New York City and State legislative proposals for any potential racially disparate impacts on communities of color and immigrants, with a focus on children. This initiative involves distributing surveys and conducting focus groups to collaborate with communities, gaining insights on current policy impacts, and identifying areas needing improvement. Our objective is to ensure policies are equitable and support the health, social, and economic well-being of marginalized communities.
