Geralyn Love, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, began her journey with CDF Freedom School in 2020 as a Servant Leader Intern in Wilmington, NC. She currently serves as the Elementary Lead Student Support Specialist for Communities In Schools of Cape Fear. As a lead, she provides support and coaching to the Student Support Specialists in the elementary schools served by CIS Cape Fear. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Africana Studies from the University of North Carolina in Wilmington and a Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Auburn University. This is her second year working as an Ella Baker Trainer for CDF Freedom Schools and she is looking forward to this service year.
