Carmen White

Carmen White is a native of Columbia, SC, where she was introduced to the CDF Freedom Schools® program as a scholar in the summer of 2014. Since then, White has served as a Junior Servant Leader Intern, Servant Leader Intern, and Site Coordinator at her local site. White holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Fitness Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Currently, White coaches cheerleading to elementary girls and boys in her local school district and plans to further her education in Exercise Physiology to help families reduce their risk of morbidities and mortality related to obesity and poor health habits, as well as assist special populations to their quality of life through lifestyle changes. White is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and is excited to serve her second year as an Ella Baker Trainer to continue the work at hand.
