The Children’s Defense Fund Action Council recently released a Legislative Report Card for the 2019 legislative session in Congress.

The report card incorporated over 500 bills to assess every representative in the House and every senator in the Senate (29 of the bills were endorsed by CDF). Each bill is categorized by whether it benefits the interests of children or whether it is against the interests of children. Keep reading to find out which Texas legislators scored the best and which scored the worst!

A-rated politicians include District 16 Rep. Veronica Escobar, District 29 Rep. Sylvia Garcia, District 9 Rep. Al Green, District 18 Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, District 30 Rep.
