Because of you, over the last 12 months we have:

Advocating

Successfully secured a 10-year extension of funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), which ensures health coverage for 9.5 million children in America.

Successfully passed the historic Family First Prevention Services Act, which includes reforms to keep children safely with their families and out of foster care.

Successfully prevented cuts to Medicaid—which ensures health care for nearly 37 million of America’s children—and repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

Because of friends like you, we were able to meet our 2017 year-end grant matching goal to ensure that the impact of your gifts were doubled up to $750,000. Thank you!

Communicated with more than 59,000 families each week through 2017.

Educated the 5,151 individuals who downloaded our ‘State of America’s Children’ report in the first seven weeks of its release.

Investing

Laid the groundwork for 200+ high school leaders’ future success with year-round support and preparation for college.

Positively influenced 11,995 elementary-aged and high school youth by helping them achieve successful summer reading level gains.
