Rhea Bishop
Deputy Director of CDF's Southern Regional Office

Ms. Rhea Bishop is the Deputy Director of CDF's Southern Regional Office (CDF-SRO) and Executive Director of Supporting Partnerships to Assure Ready Kids (SPARK), where she has spent nearly 10 years working to address policy issues of families related to alleviating poverty, enhancing education and health care.

Ms. Bishop has spent her career working closely with school districts and communities across the state to secure health care coverage for students, establish after school programs, family resource centers, and parent education programs. She also works with districts and communities interested in taking a community development approach to education.

Ms. Bishop received her Master of Masters in Public Policy & Administration degree from Jackson State University and is a 6th generation Mississippian.
