Urgent: Call your Representative TODAY. The Republican House of Representative leaders and the White House failed to get a vote this week on a new, worse version of the bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA). But it’s not dead yet. We need to keep the pressure on! Thanks to your earlier calls, tweets, and resistance at Congressional town hall meetings and district offices, the terrible Republican American Health Care Act (AHCA) that would have left 24 million more people uninsured and destroyed Medicaid for 37 million low-income children while giving huge tax breaks to the wealthy, never made it to a House vote in March. We need your help to defeat AHCA again NOW.

Republican House leaders and the White House resurrected the AHCA with a harmful new amendment that would effectively deny health care to millions of children and adults with pre-existing conditions, a discriminatory practice banned by the Affordable Care Act. Your Representative needs to hear from you again today. Remind your Representative how the AHCA will hurt children and families, and tell him or her the MacArthur–Meadows amendment makes it even worse. They must resist all efforts to repeal the ACA and harm Medicaid.

The message to Congress remains the same: “Do No Harm” to children’s health coverage. Thanks in large part to the ACA, Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), today 95 percent of America’s children have health coverage — a record high. Even if you’ve called before, call again NOW! We cannot afford to move backwards.

Call (877) 233-9025 NOW TO SAVE CHILDREN'S HEALTH COVERAGE. Here's what you can say.
