  • National Women’s Law Center: "Family Tax Credits in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009." This brief outlines several new and expanded tax credits that families can use for the 2009 and 2010 tax years, including the Child Tax Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit, Making Work Pay tax credit, first time home buyer credit and the American Opportunity Tax credit (for higher education). It also links to state-by-state information for several credits from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.
