Deportation Takes a Mental and Physical Toll on Children

One of the less-talked-about aspects of removing undocumented people from the United States is the mental and physical toll it takes on the children. As it turns out, a new report from advocacy organization Human Impact Partners argues that the threat of deportation actually causes long-term stress in children, which can lead to everything from poor performance in school to depression.
