Rural Black Women's Group Sponsors Unequal Lives Report

The report, which is based on listening sessions with more than 200 black women and girls conducted in the so-called “Black Belt” of Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia, was completed under the sponsorship of the Southern Rural Black Women’s Initiative and through funding provided by the Ford Foundation, the Marguerite Casey Foundation, the Foundation for a Just Society and the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation.
