Children's Health Coverage State Enrollment Packets

Release Date: August 18, 2010
File Format: pdf

Two-thirds of the more than 8 million uninsured children in America are eligible for health coverage through CHIP or Medicaid, but aren't enrolled due to state-imposed barriers.  CDF's “All Healthy Children Campaign” aims to enroll 100 percent of uninsured children with the health coverage for which they are eligible or connect them with community health resources for those who are not eligible for public coverage.  Join us in this effort and use these state-specific resources to assist you in holding an enrollment drive in your community.  If you need further assistance, contact us at 100percent@childrensdefense.org.

These enrollment packets provide:

  • General information about children's health coverage
  • State-based resources, including possible enrollment partners
  • Steps for enrolling a child in coverage program
  • Follow-up flyer
  • Health resources, by county, for children who are not eligible for coverage
