Development Office Internships

This division employs a broad range of strategies to meet the institution's annual and long-range budget. In addition to corporate and foundation funding, this division sponsors several special events and benefits annually.

CDF's Development Office looks for interns with prior fundraising experience.

Interns are not directly involved in soliciting money, yet learn valuable fundraising, public relations and nonprofit marketing skills.

Interns will:

• conduct research on major donors and corporate and community foundations
• assist with data-entry
• utilize specialized software such as Lexis Nexus and Raiser's Edge

Excellent organizational and computer skills and a strong interest in learning about the non-profit management field are essential to this internship.
