Communications Department Internships

This multi-faceted division is responsible for:

• media-driven efforts
• publications
• website development

Interns may be assigned to media-related activities and/or publications.

Media interns are immersed in the daily operations required for this office and are also integral to planning and executing each press event or media campaign.

Media intern assignments include:

• preparation and distribution of daily press clippings
• assisting with press calls and mailings
• assisting with videotape production and dubbing
• developing and distributing press packets
• providing media related information services to the general public

Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in communications or media-related fields will be given highest consideration.

Publications interns will:

• assist this division's work with the website
• produce dozens of brochures, policy publications, guides and special reports 
• operate a catalog sales unit for merchandising CDF's products and publications

Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in communications, graphic arts or related fields will be given highest consideration.
