Pine Belt Area Cradle to Prison Pipeline® Summit

On September 30, the City of Hattiesburg is partnering with United Way of Southeast Mississippi and the Children’s Defense Fund Southern Regional Office to host the Pine Belt Area Cradle to Prison Pipeline Summit to address the nationwide pipeline to prison crisis. The Summit will focus on the pipeline to prison’s devastating impact on children, youth and their families, particularly within the Pine Belt community and identify effective strategies to dismantle the pipeline.
