The Cradle to Prison Pipeline campaign is a national and community crusade to engage families, youth, community leaders and institutions and those in power in every sector in the development of healthy, educated children. The Campaign advances policies that put children on track to productive adulthood and opposes those that criminalize children at younger and younger ages.

Cradle to Prison Pipeline® Columbus Regional Meeting

This regional meeting will bring members of the Columbus area community together to identify and prioritize circumstances that contribute to youths’ entrance into the pipeline to prison and examine potential solutions and develop a strategic plan to address one or two of these circumstances.
Prior to the meeting, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., the Ohio Juvenile Justice Coalition has arranged a tour of the facility for anyone interested in participating. The tour will provide an opportunity to see the facility, speak with youth and staff about their experience in the institution, and provide feedback that the Juvenile Justice Coalition members will present to Tom Stickrath, Director of the Department of Youth Services.
