Jonathan Klay is a candidate in the International Security and Economic Policy Program at the University of Maryland’s Maryland School of Policy. He chose to intern at the Children's Defense Fund due to its great works as one of America’s most prominent child advocacy organizations and its significant contributions to the country. This summer Jonathan interned in CDF’s Development department, where he learned important outreach and engagement skills. He plans to remain a child advocate for the rest of his life, either within the nonprofit sector or elsewhere.
