Ashley Criss, originally from Greenville, South Carolina, is a second-year student at The George Washington University Law School. At GW Law, Ashley is a member of The Federal Circuit Bar Journal and The Education Law and Advocacy Network. Ashley’s dream is for every child to have equal access to an excellent education. In pursuit of this goal, she has interned at the U.S. Department of Education in the Office for Civil Rights and has worked as a high school teacher for Teach for America in Jacksonville, Florida. Through her experience at CDF, Ashley has learned how to better use her career as a lawyer to advocate for children. In her free time, Ashley loves to travel (especially to Germany and Italy), bake and spend time with her dog at the park. Ashley was a ______intern with the Children’s Defense Fund.
