Human Resources Department Internships

CDF's Human Resources Department is responsible for recruiting, orienting, benefits management, performance management and servicing the institution's workforce of over 100 employees in the Washington, DC headquarters and state offices.
 
Interns assist a team of three HR specialists in:

  • assisting with recruitment strategies and systems
  • employee benefits administration
  • training and development
  • HR benchmarking
  • special projects that focus on staff relations and organizational development
  • general administrative tasks to include upkeep of new hire and benefits packets, filing of confidential materials, and other HR related tasks

This internship is a good hands-on learning opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing human resources management or a business degree.
