CDF Freedom Schools programs are partnerships between CDF's Black Community Crusade for Children^® (BCCC)^® program and local community-based organizations, churches, public schools and colleges/universities to provide literacy-rich summer programs in communities where those opportunities are limited or nonexistent.

Interns assist with:

• preparation and delivery of training and technical assistance for local program staff
• outreach to current and prospective CDF Freedom Schools program sites.  

Assignments will include:

• developing training materials
• drafting correspondence
• responding to site inquiries
• researching best practices in educational and cultural enrichment after-school and summer programs
