Zaina Gennaoui

Zaina Gennaoui is a native of West Bloomfield, Michigan. She is a rising junior at the University of Michigan pursuing a bachelor’s degree in international studies and elementary education. She is a member of the national co-ed community service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, where she serves as Vice President of Service. After volunteering for two years at a local center for children and families affected by social and economic problems, she saw the great need for organizations like CDF. Her experiences and passion for giving back to the community, especially to children, has driven her to make it a life goal to advocate for children, to give them all equal voices and opportunities. Currently, Zaina is an intern in the office of Youth Leadership and Development in CDF’s National Office in Washington, D.C.
