Timothy Hughes is originally from Asheville, North Carolina and is currently a rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a B.A. in History.
He is actively involved on his campus as an elected President of the Education Committee and a Jackson Ambassador for the Office of Admissions. In the future, he aspires to become a civil rights attorney.
Timothy interns in the Field Department where he assists with the Young Adult Leadership Training (YALT) Program. YALT develops child advocacy knowledge and skills in young leaders, community organizers, and activists that can be implemented through their organizations, in their communities, and on college campuses.
