Ginny Claire Kim is an English major at the University of Virginia. She plans to attend medical school after graduating. Claire has a variety of interests in Communications including graphic design, writing, bioethics, philosophy, and medicine. She intends to pursue a medical degree and is considering a career in public health or bioethics.
She has been interested in volunteering since high school and wishes to deepen her understanding of political advocacy and human rights.
During her internship in the Communications Department at CDF, she wants to learn how to craft messages that inform, persuade and call to action. Claire is primarily working with visual media. She is also helping plan the logistics for a mural that will painted by Children's Defense Fund Freedom Schools® scholars as part of 16th annual Samuel DeWitt Proctor Institute for Child Advocacy Ministry.
