Eryn Gordon

Eryn Gordon is a Public Health Social Sciences major and Africana Studies minor at the Johns Hopkins University. In January 2010, she was awarded a fellowship to study at the University of Ghana. At Hopkins, she is president of the Center for Africana Studies Student Advisory Council and of the Xi Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Eryn has researched at several non-profit educational organizations. As an intern in the Education Department at CDF, she is interested in policies that decrease high school dropout rates by decriminalizing and empowering disadvantaged youth through quality education. She plans to pursue a Masters in Public Policy and a law degree in order to ultimately use the American legal system as a tool for social justice.
